Puget Sound's First New Year Baby Born In Seattle

SEATTLE, Wash. (Metro) -- The first new baby of 2013 is born to a Seattle couple.

His parents say Oliver James Soltysik came into the world at 12:11 a.m. on New Year's Day, 13 days late.

Joshua and Melissa Soltysik say Oliver weighed in at eight pounds, 12 ounces at birth.

The baby was born at Group Health on Capitol Hill.
