Robbery Suspect Arrested



BELLINGHAM POLICE HAVE ARRESTED AN 18-YEAR-OLD MAN WHO’S SUSPECTED OF THREATENING A STORE CLERK WITH A KNIFE.

A POLICE SPOKESMAN SAYS SECURITY VIDEO HELPED IDENTIFY HUNTER HICKS AS ONE OF TWO MEN WHO GRABBED A CASE OF BEER AND RAN FROM THE SHELL STATION ON EAST HOLLY STREET ON MONDAY AFTERNOON.

THE STORE CLERK CHASED THE PAIR UNTIL HICKS TURNED AND BRANDISHED A LARGE KNIFE.

HICKS WAS ARRESTED ON TUESDAY.

HIS ACCOMPLICE, 18-YEAR-OLD KEVIN SHINN WAS CITED FOR SHOPLIFTING.
