KGMI’s Whatcom Reports Becomes A Magazine

BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- KGMI's Sunday morning show, "The Whatcom Report," is being adapted into a printed magazine.

Ken Oplinger, president of the Bellingham/Whatcom Chamber of Commerce and host of "the Whatcom Report," says the new quarterly magazine will promote local businesses as well as activities and programs hosted by the chamber.

He says the chamber gets a lot of positive feedback from the show.

The magazine will feature chamber members and local guest columnists, and will include features from Bellingham Whatcom tourism and the Northwest Economic Council.

The first issue of "The Whatcom Report" magazine will be distributed December 5 at the chamber's annual awards banquet.

"The Whatcom Report" airs at 8 a.m. Sunday morning here on KGMI.
